Jiāng Qiū 江秋 (also recorded as Jiāng Hándūn 江涵暾, Yǔyún 雨耘, hào Bǐhuā 筆花, c. 1770 – c. 1837), Qīng official and physician of Wǎnjiāng / Wúyuán 婺源 region (Ānhuī). Jìnshì of 1799 in the Jiāqìng reign; subsequent provincial-official career in Guǎngdōng (Shàntóu and other prefectural posts). His principal medical work, the Bǐhuā yījìng 筆花醫鏡 (KR3er009, composed c. 1824 during his Guǎngdōng official career, first prefaced for print by Zhōng Chénglù 鍾承露 in 1834), is a four-juǎn didactic handbook of internal medicine, gynaecology, and pediatrics organised under the zàngfǔ viscera-and-bowels framework with characteristic jūnchén drug-classification tables. The work became a standard text in late-Qīng / Republican-period folk and apprentice-physician training; it was repeatedly reprinted through the Tóngzhì and Guāngxù eras. CBDB 354753 records c_index_year 1778 (the most plausible candidate among CBDB homonyms). The Bǐhuā literary cover-name became conventional in Chinese-medicine reference works for the author.
