Wāng Dōngtíng 汪東亭 (zì Dōngtíng 東亭, hào sometimes given as Yīyǎn 一眼; full name variously transmitted as Wāng Qǐbīn 汪啟濱; fl. Guāngxù era, late 19th c.), late-Qīng inner alchemist of the Xīpài 西派 (Western Branch) transmission descending from Lǐ Xīyuè 李西月 (1806–1856). Active in Hànkǒu / Wǔhàn from at least the late 1880s. Disciple of “Wú Tiānzhìwēng” 吳天秩翁, from whom he received the qīfǎn jiǔhuán jīnyè dà dān 七返九還金液大丹 transmission; thereafter associated in Hànyáng with Kē Huáijīng 柯懷經, Lǐ Yúnlán 李云嵐, Zhōu Jùnfū 周俊夫 and Kē Zàishū 柯載書 in the Xīpài circle of teachers.
Principal work: Xìngmìng yàozhǐ 性命要旨 (KR3eo007), printed jointly with Kē Huáijīng’s Yǎngxìng biān 養性編 in 1889 at Hànyáng under the editorial care of Chéng Shǒuyī 程守一 of Xīn’ān. Doctrinally distinctive for the Xīpài xìngmìng shuāngxiū sequence starting from xìng rather than mìng. Cited repeatedly by Chén Yīngníng 陳攖寧 (1880–1969) as one of his immediate-generation Xīpài predecessors. No CBDB record.
