Major late-Míng connoisseur and bibliophile of Jiāxīng 嘉興; Yùshuǐ 玉水, hào Lèqīng 樂卿. Lifedates 1587–1645 per catalog meta. Son of Wāng Àijīng 汪愛荊, an associate of Xiàng Yuánbiàn 項元汴, whose collection — housed in the Níngxiá gé 凝霞閣 — was one of the great Wàn-lì-era private collections of calligraphy and painting. Best known for compiling KR3h0060 Shānhú wǎng 珊瑚網 (1643), the third of the three principal late-Míng connoisseurial compendia (alongside Zhāng Chǒu’s KR3h0055 Qīnghé shūhuà fǎng and KR3h0056 Zhēnjī rìlù). Also author of the Gǔjīn cuólüè 古今鹺畧 on the salt monopoly (extant in Sìkù, KR2k). His painting and calligraphy records were the foundation for later compilations including KR3h0068 Biàn Yǒngyù’s Shìgǔtáng shūhuà huìkǎo and KR3h0069 Lì È’s NánSòng yuànhuà lù.
