Shěn Qīngyá 沈青崖 (fl. 1730s; lifedates not transmitted), native of Qiántáng 錢塘 (Hángzhōu prefecture, Zhèjiāng) — the same regional milieu as the Hénán tōngzhì compiler Sūn Hào (孫灝), to whom he was loosely linked through Hangzhou literary circles. Jìnshì of Kāngxī cohort (date uncertain); rose to liángchǔdào 糧儲道 (Grain-Storage Circuit officer) of Shǎnxī, in which capacity he was assigned, by the Shǎnxī Governor-General and Governor in 1731, the principal biānzuǎn role on the Yōngzhèng-era Shǎnxī tōngzhì (KR2k0050). The Sìkù tíyào of KR2k0050 singles out his use of running editorial ànyǔ 案語 (annotations comparing variant readings) as a distinctive philological contribution, anticipating later Qiánlóng-era kǎozhèng method. CBDB id 67542 (no dates given). Pinyin tone for 青 standard qīng; the source orthographic variant 沈靑崖 (with traditional 靑) is the form printed in the WYG.
