Shātúmùsū 沙圖穆蘇 (also recorded as Sālǐmíshí 薩理彌實 — these two are alternate transcriptions of the same Mongol/Persian / Inner-Asian personal name; the SKQS editors restored 沙圖穆蘇 as the principal form; Qiānzhāi 謙齋, fl. mid-late 元), Yuán-period Mongol/Inner-Asian-origin official-physician. Career: served first as Imperial Censor (御史) and then transferred out as Grand Protector (太守) of Jiànchāng 建昌. Author of the Ruìzhú táng jīngyàn fāng 瑞竹堂經驗方 (KR3e0058) — originally 15 juan, recovered as 5 juan from the Yǒnglè dàdiǎn by the SKQS editors (about 50% lost; remaining 50% reorganized into 24 categorical gates). The Yáng Shìqí 楊士奇 Wényuángé shūmù 文淵閣書目 lists a 1-bound-volume copy (early-Míng), and Cháo Lì 晁瑮’s Bǎowéntáng shūmù (mid-Míng) also lists it — the work was therefore extant in early-and-mid-Míng but rare thereafter. Wú Chéng 吳澄 and Wáng Dūzhōng 王都中 each wrote a preface (preserved in the Yǒnglè recovery), the principal biographical witnesses to Shātúmùsū. Beyond the work and these prefaces, his career is not recorded in the Yuán shǐ. Catalog dynasty 元 is correct.
