Fǎshèn 法慎

Suí-period Buddhist monk and disciple of 智顗 Zhìyǐ. Named in the editorial framing to the Xiǎo zhǐguān (KR6d0143) as the original recorder (in thirty juan) of Zhìyǐ’s Jiàncì zhǐguān 漸次止觀 lectures delivered at Wǎguānsì 瓦官寺, which were subsequently redacted into ten juan by 灌頂 Zhāngān Guàndǐng as the Chánbōluómì cìdì fǎmén (KR6d0144, T1916).
