Fǎyè 法業
Eastern Jìn śramaṇa (沙門 / 釋) who served as scribe (筆受) at the Dàochǎngsì 道場寺 in Jiànkāng for 佛馱跋陀羅 Buddhabhadra’s 418–420 translation of the 60-fascicle [[KR6e0001|Dà fāngguǎng fó huáyán jīng 大方廣佛華嚴經]]. His role as scribe (literally “personally received [the rendering] with the brush”) is recorded in the closing colophon of the work. Lifedates unrecorded.
