淳于意 Chúnyú Yì
Chúnyú Yì 淳于意 (also known as Cānggōng 倉公 “Granary Master”, c. 205 BCE – c. 150 BCE), Western Hàn physician of Qí 齊; one of the earliest named figures in Chinese medical history. Subject of an extensive biographical record in Shǐjì 105 (Biǎn Què Cānggōng lièzhuàn), which preserves twenty-five of his clinical case records — the earliest extant Chinese medical case histories. Studied with 公乘陽慶 Gōngshèng Yángqìng.
