Hùndùnzǐ 混沌子 (“the Master of Primordial Chaos”), pseudonymous late-Míng inner-alchemical author. The sole transmitted attribution is to the Jǐnshēn jīyào 錦身機要 (KR3eo010). The sobriquet is drawn from the Zhuāngzǐ 應帝王 fable of Emperor Hùndùn and is a recurrent Daoist self-presentation across the YuánMíng inner-alchemical literature; the present author’s true identity is unrecovered. The work’s doctrinal alignment with the Lǚ Dòngbīn 呂洞賓 transmission and its xìngmìng shuāngxiū exclusivism place the author in the late-Míng (15th–early 17th c.) popular-Daoist milieu. No CBDB record.
