Jiāo Hóng 焦竤 / 焦竑 (1540–1620), zì Ruò hóu 弱侯, hào Dàn yuán 澹園. Late-Míng scholar-official of Jīn líng 金陵 (Nánjīng), first-placed zhuàng yuán of 1589, Hàn lín bachelor. A leading historian, bibliographer (Guó shǐ jīng jí zhì 國史經籍志), and Confucian-Daoist-Buddhist syncretist. Author of KR5h0056 Lǎo zǐ yì 老子翼 and KR5h0057 Zhuāng zǐ yì 莊子翼 — the standard collected-commentary editions of the Lǎo zǐ and Zhuāng zǐ from the late Míng, compiling the exegetical traditions.
