Wáng Xǐ 王喜 (fl. mid-14th c.), a Yuán-era hydraulic engineer of unrecorded native place. The Sìkù tíyào notes only that “his rank and place are unknown.” His sole surviving work is the Zhìhé túlüè (KR2k0064), a 1-juan illustrated memorial on Yellow River management, presented to the throne in connection with the Zhì-zhèng-era (1341–1370) Yellow River crisis — most likely shortly after the Báimáo dyke breach of Zhìzhèng 4 (1344) and before Jiǎ Lǔ’s restoration in 1351. CBDB has multiple homonymous entries for 王喜 across the SòngYuánMíngQīng range; no confident match for the Yuán hydraulic engineer.
