One of two student-confidants (with 張子望 Zhāng Zǐwàng of Yíngyáng) of 邵雍 Shào Yōng, said by 邵伯溫 Shào Bówēn’s Yìxué biànhuò (KR1a0017) to have received his master’s xiāntiān 先天 chart-and-numerology corpus in confidential transmission. Wáng died young; on his deathbed his manuscript copy was stolen by 鄭夬 Zhèng Guài — the foundational episode of Shào Bówēn’s polemic.
