Tián Wénjìng 田文鏡 (1662–1732), Yìguāng 抑光, of the Plain Blue Banner (漢軍正藍旗), originally Hànjūn from Fèngtiān 奉天 (modern Liáoníng). His Yōngzhèng-era career: Shānxī bùzhèngshǐ (1723); Hénán bùzhèngshǐ (1723); Hénán governor (Yōngzhèng 2 = 1724); concurrently Shāndōng governor; finally Hédōng Governor-General (HénánShāndōng) (Yōngzhèng 6 = 1728 – Yōngzhèng 10 = 1732). Together with Lǐ Wèi 李衛 (李衛) and Ě’ěrtài 鄂爾泰, one of the three “Yōngzhèng favoured ministers” — and the most controversial: his ruthless implementation of the Yōngzhèng fiscal reforms (huòhào guī gōng 火耗歸公) and his brutal handling of the HénánShāndōng “literati strike” provoked sustained criticism. He launched the Hénán tōngzhì (KR2k0047) in 1731 but died in office before its completion. Posthumous title 端肅 Duānsù (later revoked under Qiánlóng). Qīng shǐ gǎo j. 294 has his biography. CBDB id 57344; lifedates per Qīngdài rénwù shēngzú niánbiǎo (#3319; original date Yōngzhèng 10/12 corresponds to early 1733 in Western calendar).
