Early-Northern-Sòng remonstrance-official, Biǎoshèng 表聖. Jīngzhào family resettled in Shǔ (Sìchuān). Jìnshì of Tàipíng xīngguó 3 / 978, second place under Sū Yìjiǎn. Held Yòushíyí, Yòubǔquē, Héběi zhuǎnyùnshǐ, Zhīzhìgào, Bīngbù yuánwàiláng, and Yòujiànyìdàfū shǐguǎn xiūzhuàn (the post he held when he died). Demoted twice for the frankness of his remonstrance — once to Hǎizhōu tuánliànfùshǐ and once to Yánlíng (Wǎnqiū) — and twice rapidly restored. Died at his post in Xiánpíng 6 / 1003, age 64. Author of the Xiánpíng jí KR4d0003; epitaph by Fàn Zhòngyān, shéndào bēi by Sīmǎ Guāng, to his collected memorials by Sū Shì (who compared him to Jiǎ Yì 賈誼). Posthumously held up by the Northern-Sòng yánshì tradition as the moral exemplar of the yùshǐ function. CBDB id 1615, lifedates 940–1003.
