Shèng Shìzuǒ 盛世佐 (Qīng, fl. 1747–1766; CBDB id 125398 has fl. earliest 1748). Native of Xiùshuǐ 秀水 (modern Jiāxīng, Zhèjiāng — same county as Zhū Yízūn 朱彝尊 and Zhū Jǐn 諸錦). Held minor office as Lónglǐ xiàn zhīxiàn 龍里縣知縣 (Magistrate of Lónglǐ County, in Guìzhōu).

Author of KR1d0049 Yílǐ jíbiān 儀禮集編 in 40 juan, completed in Qiánlóng dīngmǎo (Qiánlóng 12 = 1747), preface dated by Sāng Diàoyuán 桑調元. The work is a comprehensive Yílǐ anthology drawing on 197 commentators from pre-Qín through to early-mid Qīng. Methodologically Shèng restores the canonical separation of jīng (classical text) and (record) — both of which Zhū Xī’s KR1d0085 Yílǐ jīngzhuàn tōngjiě had merged together. The Sìkù tíyào approves the work’s restoration of the Zhèng-edition canonical sequence and its careful editorial discipline (citation order by historical period, no plagiarism, restraint in appending personal commentary).

CBDB id 125398. The work is one of the most comprehensive single-author Qīng Yílǐ anthologies prior to Sūn Yírǎng’s late-Qīng Yílǐ zhèngyì.
