真啟

Zhēnqǐ 真啟

Late-Míng Chán monk, attendant (shìzhě 侍者) of Mìyún Yuánwù 密雲圓悟 at Tiāntóngsì 天童寺. Lifedates unrecorded. Editor of Yuánwù’s 1638 polemical treatise Pì wàng jiù lüè shuō 闢妄救略說 KR6q0168; identified in the text’s juan-headers as shìzhě Zhēnqǐ biān 侍者真啟編 (“edited by the attendant Zhēnqǐ”). No independent biographical material survives beyond his editorial role in this text.

Distinct from the later Qīng Chán monk 天岩真啟 (DILA A041631), hào Hǎiyuè 海月 — a separate person.
