Zǔgǎo 祖杲

Late-Yuán Chán cānxué bǐqiū 參學比丘 of 清欲 Liǎoān Qīngyù (1292–1367); co-editor (with 得度) of juan 4 (jǔgǔ 舉古) of Qīngyù’s yǔlù (KR6q0347). The Xíngdàojì by Sòng Lián credits Zǔgǎo specifically with having requested that Qīngyù compile a continuation of Xuědòu’s niāngǔ 拈古 — a request Qīngyù initially refused but later fulfilled with a set of one hundred cases. Lifedates unrecorded.
