The compiler (“biānzuǎn 編纂”) of the [[KR5a0320|Níngyáng Dǒng zhēnrén yùxiān jì 凝陽董真人遇仙記]] (DZ 308), the chronological hagiography of the Jurchen-born Quánzhēn-influenced Daoist Dǒng Shǒuzhì 董守志 (Níngyáng zǐ 凝陽子, zì Kuānfǔ 寬甫; 1160–1227). The compilation appears to date from shortly after Dǒng’s death in 1227. Schipper & Verellen, The Taoist Canon (2004) 2:1140, render the name “Lu Zhaowen, otherwise unknown”; the catalog meta dates the work to ca. 1238. He narrates Dǒng’s life in chronological sequence after a short summary (1a–2a), giving most attention to Dǒng’s encounters with the three immortals Zhōnglí Quán 鍾離權, Lǚ Dòngbīn 呂洞賓, and Liú Hǎichán 劉海蟾, who appear singly or in pairs to impart medicines, talismans, instruction, and poems. Lù Zhāowén must have been a disciple or sympathiser of the Dǒng circle in the Lóngzhōu 隴州 / western Shǎnxī 陜西 region, but no further information is preserved.
