Zenno 禪能 was a Japanese Vinaya monk (lifedates unknown). He is remembered for his editorial work gō-e 合會 (“conjoint compilation”) of the Sìfēnlǜ shānbǔ suíjī jiémó shū jìyuán jì 四分律刪補隨機羯磨疏濟緣記 (KR6k0158, X41n0728), which combines Dàoxuān’s (道宣) 疏 and Yuánzhào’s (元照) jì into a single integrated reading text. The work’s xù (Xīnkè rùzhù páikē jiémó shū xù 新刻入註排科羯磨疏序) preserves the institutional history of Vinaya transmission to Japan via Jiànzhēn 鑒真 (Ganjin, 688–763) at Tiānpíng Shèngbǎo 天平勝寶 (mid-eighth century) and identifies Zenno as a heir of that lineage. He is otherwise unattested.
