Chéng Wényòu 程文囿 (zì Guānquán 觀泉, hào Xìngxuān 杏軒, c. 1761–1833) — Xīnān 新安 (Ānhuī) physician of the early nineteenth century, native of Shè 歙. He is one of the principal regional practitioners of the Xīnān medical tradition (Xīnān yīpài 新安醫派) at its early-Jiā-qìng / Dàoguāng moment of consolidation. His principal works are KR3ep019 Chéng Xìngxuān yīàn 程杏軒醫案 (published in three successive series across his working life from 1796 onward) and the Yīshù 醫述 (1833), in 16 juǎn, one of the most ambitious Qīng-period medical encyclopaedias drawing on hundreds of earlier sources.
CBDB lists multiple Chéng Wényòu records (e.g. 89952 with dates 1671–1733); none is the right physician, who is properly disambiguated by his hào Xìngxuān 杏軒 and his early-nineteenth-century floruit (the Liú Quánzhī 劉權之 preface to the Yīàn is dated 1805, Jiāqìng 10). The 1761–1833 dates are conventional in modern Chinese reference works.
