Jì Yīn 紀蔭 (or 繼蔭; Xiāngyǔ 湘雨, hào Zhòutíng 宙亭 / Sǔnyuán 損園), early-Qīng Línjì-school Yángqí 楊岐 sub-line monk; native of Wùyuán 婺源 (Huīzhōu region), secular surname Yóu 游. Lifedates not transmitted; floruit late 17th c. through the Kāngxī reign (his major work the Zōngtǒng biānnián is dated to 1689; he was still active during Kāngxī 28 [1689] when the emperor’s third southern progress conferred on him the imperial calligraphy “Shénjùn” 神駿 — used to rename his Xiángfúsì 祥符寺).

He took ordination at Lóngxī 龍溪 and received dharma-transmission from Bēimù Shìqiān 卑牧式謙 (?–1681), placing him in the dharma-line of Sānfēng Hànyuè Fǎzàng 三峯漢月法藏 (1573–1635). Resident principally at Fūjiāo Xiángfúsì 夫椒祥符寺 in Chángzhōu and at Pílíng Tiānníngsì 毗陵天寧寺. His principal Kanripo work, the 《宗統編年》 Zōngtǒng biānnián (KR6r0105, X1600, 32 juan, 1689), is a Buddhist universal history on the Confucian biānnián model that is unusually attentive to documenting the Tiāntóng / Sānfēng lineage dispute from a balanced position. He also produced a 28-juan personal poetry collection Zhòutíng shījí 宙亭詩集 (preserved in the Gùgōng zhēnběn cóngkān) and a Mǔdān bǎi yǒng 牡丹百詠. Per DILA Buddhist Person Authority A000861.
