Nàyán 納延 (Yuán; the Qiánlóng-era sinicization — the Yuán original was 迺賢 Nǎixián). Zì Yìzhī 易之. Héshuòfǎnggǔjì author. Late-Yuán Hànlín official and Sèmù literatus. The Jīntái jí KR4d0534 preserves the bulk of his verse, with prefaces by Ōuyáng Xuán 歐陽玄 (Zhìzhèng 12 = 1352), Lǐ Hǎowén 李好文, Gōng Shītài 貢師泰 — all Zhìzhèng rénchén (1352); Huáng Jìn 黃溍 title-word Zhìzhèng gēngyín (1350); Jiē Xīsī 揭傒斯 bá Zhìzhèng yǐyǒu (1345); Chéng Wén 程文 bá Zhìzhèng xīnmǎo (1351); Yáng Yí 楊彝 bá Zhìzhèng yǐwèi (1355); Tàihābùhā 泰哈布哈 (Yuán Tàibùhuá 泰不華) title Zhìzhèng wùzǐ (1348); Zhāng Qǐyán 張起巖 tíshī Zhìzhèng yǐchǒu (1349); Yú Jí 1 shī; Wēi Sù 1 bá. The Wēi Sù bá explains “*Yìzhī’s Jīntái qiángǎo — I have prefaced — on returning to the capital I obtained a hòugǎo 1 juǎn” — so the 2 juǎn combine the two gǎo. The Sìkù tíyào judges Nàyán’s tiāncái hóngxiù (heavenly talent broad and elegant) close to Yuán Hǎowèn 元好問 — a high-Yuán comparison from a low-Yuán figure.
