Late-Yuán 元 Daoist scholar. Died 1367 — one year before the Míng conquest (1368). Author of the 30-juàn Nán huá zhēn jīng xún běn 南華真經循本 (DZ 742), a Zhuāngzǐ commentary.
Activity period. Active in the early-to-middle 14th century, contemporary with the decline of Mongol-Yuán rule and the rise of the Red Turban rebellions (1351 onwards). His death in 1367 places him in the very last generation of Mongol-Yuán Daoist scholars.
Works. His sole substantial surviving work is the Nán huá zhēn jīng xún běn (DZ 742) — a commentary on the Zhuāngzǐ that integrates Neo-Confucian, Chán-Buddhist, and Daoist interpretive categories. See KR5c0135 for the full entry.
