Luó Hán 羅含 (292–372 CE), courtesy name Jūnzhāng 君章, was an Eastern Jin official and literary figure from Guìyáng 桂陽 (modern Hunan). He served successively as Administrator of Guìyáng 桂陽太守 and Administrator of Wùlíng 武陵太守, giving him extensive knowledge of the Hunan region. He is the author of the Xiāngzhōng jì 湘中記 (KR2k0177), a geographic record of the Xiang River region, as well as the Xiě-niǎo jīng 蟬賦 (Essay on Cicadas) and other literary works. The Jìn shū 晉書 contains his biography (ch. 92). He was noted in his time for his literary talent and his philosophical essays influenced by Xuanxue 玄學 thought.
