義福

Yìfú 義福

Yìfú 義福 (658–736), Northern-School Chán master, dharma-heir of Shénxiù. Alongside Pǔjì (651–739), one of the principal second-generation Northern-School teachers active at the Táng court in Chāng’ān and Luòyáng during the Kāiyuán era. Patronised by the imperial house and members of the high official elite.
