翟元

Dí Yuán 翟元

Originally 翟玄 Dí Xuán; the form 翟元 reflects Táng-period taboo on the character 玄. Pre-Táng Yì scholar of obscure dates, conventionally placed in the Eastern Jìn 東晉. His commentary on the Zhōuyì is lost as an independent work but is cited in 李鼎祚 Lǐ Dǐngzuò’s Zhōuyì jíjiě (KR1a0008).
