Yēlǜ Hóngjī 耶律洪基 (1032–1101)

Eighth emperor of the Liáo 遼 dynasty, posthumously titled Dàozōng 道宗 (r. 1055–1101). A devout patron of Buddhism, he sponsored major scriptural projects including the continuation of the Fángshān stone-sūtra engraving under the supervision of 通理大師 Tōnglǐ Dàshī Héngcè at Yúnjū-sì 雲居寺.
