Ài Shèng 艾晟 (also recorded 艾晟; CBDB 539346), fl. early 12th century, was a Hànlín 翰林 court physician of Sòng Huīzōng’s reign and one of the principal editors of the Dàguān jīngshǐ zhènglèi bèijí běncǎo 大觀經史證類備急本草 (1108), the second of the imperial recensions of Táng Shènwēi’s 唐慎微 Zhènglèi běncǎo (KR3ec009). The Dàguān edition was the first formal state imprimatur of the Zhènglèi; Ài Shèng’s editorial preface (preserved in subsequent editions) cites the Jiāyòu-era prefaces in full and adds a chronology of běncǎo editorial activity from 嘉祐 1057 through 大觀 1108.

CBDB has two Ài Shèng entries (id 539346 and 541481), neither with confident lifedates. No further biographical information is available beyond his role as Dàguān editor.
