Huà Zhèn 華鎮 (fl. Yuánfēng 1078– Shàoxīng c. 1140s), Ānrén 安仁, hào Yúnxī jūshì 雲溪居士, of Kuàijī 會稽 (Shàoxīng). Jìnshì of Yuánfēng 2 / 1079. Held office to Cháofèng dàifū and Zhī Zhāngzhōu jūnshì (Prefect of Zhāngzhōu). Author of Yúnxī jūshì jí 雲溪居士集 KR4d0108 originally in 100 juǎn + supplements (totalling 117 juǎn); also wrote Yáng Zǐ Fǎyán xùnjiě (training-explanation of Yáng Zǐ Fǎyán) in 10 juǎn, Shū shuō in 3 juǎn, and the noted Kuàijī lǎngǔ shī 會稽覽古詩 (103 poems on Kuàijī antiquities) — the last is his most-cited piece. Career is undocumented in the Sòng shǐ; the principal biographical source is the lost preface by Lóu Zhào 樓炤 (preserved in the WYG recension of the biéjí) and his son Huà Chūchéng 華初成’s yuánbiǎo of Shàoxīng 13 / 1143. The collection was lost from the Yuán onward; the Sìkù recension (30 juǎn) is reconstructed from the Yǒnglè dàdiǎn. CBDB has no entry under this name with secure dates; lifedates remain undetermined. Known to have been associated with the Cài Jīng / Zhāng Dūn faction (per the Sìkù tíyào) — a political cloud that contributed to his obscurity.
