Yè Shìbiǎo 葉士表 (zì Wénshū 文叔; fl. 1161) was a Southern-Sòng commentator on Zhāng Bóduān’s 張伯端 Wùzhēn piān 悟真篇. His commentary, dated Shàoxīng 31 (1161), is the earliest known commentary on the Wùzhēn piān; it is preserved within the Wùzhēn piān of KR5a0268 (juan 26–30 of the Xiūzhēn shíshū, DZ 263e). The commentary, framed in terms of the dàyǎn 大衍 numerical system of the Xìcí 繫辭 appendix to the Yìjīng, was criticized by Wēng Bǎoguāng 翁葆光 in the latter’s preface of 1173 (cf. [[KR5d0141|Zǐyáng zhēnrén Wùzhēn piān zhùshū]] preface 8b). Yè’s original commentary ended with a series of diagrams entitled Wùzhēn piān wàizhuàn 悟真篇外傳 (now incorporated into the present text without authorial attribution). No biographical information is preserved beyond what is given in the prefaces.
