葉清臣

Yè Qīngchén 葉清臣 ( Dàoqīng 道卿, 1000–1049), Northern Sòng literatus and Hànlín Academy member (內翰). A native of Chángzhōu 長州 (modern Sūzhōu), he obtained the jìnshì 進士 degree in 1024, rising to the post of Académicien-en-attente of the Hànlín Yuàn 翰林學士 and later Vice-Commissioner of Finance 三司副使. He composed the laudatory verse (zàn 讚) inscribed on the Southern Sòng Jiāng-yīn 江陰 Qiánmíng-yuàn 乾明院 stele recording the names of the five-hundred Arhats, later transcribed and reprinted as the Wǔbǎi Luóhàn zūnhào 五百羅漢尊號 (KR6i0030).
