Early-Qīng jìnshì (順治 4 / 1647) from Jīntán 金壇 (Jiāngsū). Zì Hǔchén 虎臣, hào Suíān 綏菴. Served briefly as a Hànlín Editor 翰林編修 and a fùzhǔkǎo 副主考 in provincial examinations before abandoning office in the late 1650s and retreating to Mt. Éméi 峨嵋 in Sìchuān, where he lived as a Buddhist recluse and wrote the Éméishān zhì 峨眉山志 (the standard Qīng-period gazetteer of the mountain). Compiled the Sòng Jǐnglián wèikè jí 宋景濂未刻集 KR4e0003 in Shùnzhì 12 (1655) on the basis of the original Hóngwǔ cutting of Sòng Lián’s collection preserved in the 文徵明 family. Died 1673.
