Xuē Yúsī 薛漁思 (fl. mid-to-late Táng dynasty, probably 9th century CE) is the compiler of the chuánqí and zhìguài collection Hédōng Jì 河東記 KR4k0129. CBDB id 95069; CBDB records no birth or death years, and no floruit dates. Nothing is known of his biography beyond his authorship of this collection; he does not appear in the standard Táng histories. The toponym Hédōng 河東 in the collection’s title suggests a possible connection to the Shānxī region, though this is uncertain. The stories in Hédōng Jì reference Táng reign periods of the Bǎoyìng 寶應 (762–763) and Zhēnyuán 貞元 (785–805) eras, suggesting the compiler was active in the ninth century.
