Hénglú zhǔrén 衡廬主人 (“the Master of the Hénglú studio”, probably evoking Héngshān 衡山 in Húnán) is the hào of an unidentified Republican-period physician-editor. According to the preface by Shūxiāng jūshì 蔬香居士 to the 1925 reprinting of Zhōu Zhèn’s Yòukē zhǐnán 幼科指南 (KR3ej016), Hénglú zhǔrén had spent twenty years in fēngchén 風塵 (dusty travels) in government administration and judicial service, then in frustration retired to medical study, composing his own Fùkē zhǐnán 婦科指南 and Yòukē zhǐnán (the latter being the reprinting of Zhōu Zhèn’s work). The personal name has not been identified.
