Péi Yuān 裴淵 (fl. Eastern Jin dynasty, 317–420 CE) was a geographic writer and official. He is the author of a Guǎngzhōu jì 廣州記 (KR2k0184), a record of the Guangzhou (Canton) region. The Péi 裴 family was a major aristocratic clan of the Wei-Jin period (the Péis of Wèndù 聞喜). Péi Yuān’s exact dates and offices are not attested in extant standard histories; the CBDB records him without dates (CBDB 51120). His Guǎngzhōu jì is cited in Tang-Song encyclopedias alongside the homonymous work by Gù Wēi 顧微 (顧微).
