見正

Jiànzhèng (“Right View”) — a bhikṣu interlocutor of the Buddha in the Fó shuō jiànzhèng jīng 佛說見正經 (KR6i0501, T17n0796). The text takes its title from him: a newly ordained monk who silently doubts the doctrine of rebirth, prompting the Buddha’s exposition on the transformation of consciousness across lives. He has no independent textual life outside this sūtra and is presumably an Indian figure preserved in the Chinese rendering of 竺曇無蘭 Zhú Tánwúlán.
