Xiè Yìngfāng 謝應芳 (1296–1392), zì Zǐlán 子蘭, hào Guīcháo 龜巢, was a YuánMíng transition Confucian classicist and Lǐxué moral-philosopher of Wǔjìn 武進 (Chángzhōu region, Jiāngsū). He never held office; lived to age 96, spanning the entire Yuán-period scholarly community and dying in early Míng (Hóngwǔ 25, 1392). Major works: the Biàn huò biān 辨惑編 (KR3a0073, his celebrated anti-heterodox-customs polemic, composed in Zhìzhèng 1341–1370); the Sī xián lù 思賢錄 (Yuán Lǐxué-figure prosopography, in the SKQS); the Guīcháo gǎo 龜巢稿 (collected works, 20 juan).
