Jōkai 貞海 (Zhēnhǎi), Japanese Sanron 三論 monk of indeterminate date (late-medieval to early-modern; conventionally placed 14th–17th century). The DILA Buddhist Person Authority A000875 records his name only on the basis of T2301, with no securely recorded dates.

Author of KR6m0029 Sānlùn xuányì chāo 三論玄義鈔 (T70n2301, 3 fasc.), a chāo 鈔 classroom-style sub-commentary on 吉藏 Jízàng’s Sānlùn xuányì (T1852 = KR6m0026). He signed the work as “Dúshī Zhēnhǎi héshàng 讀師貞海和尚” — “Lecturer-Master Jōkaioshō” — confirming that he held the Tōdaiji 東大寺 Sanron academic rank of dúshī 讀師 (“lecturer”), the working-classroom rank below yi-kō 已講. Not the same as the homophonous Insei-period Tōdaiji Sanron master 珍海 Chinkai (1092–1152).
