Jiǎ Sīxié 賈思勰 (6th c., Northern Wèi 後魏), Chinese agricultural-encyclopedist. Held office under late Northern Wèi as Tàishǒu of Gāoyáng 高陽郡 (Shāndōng). Author of the Qí mín yào shù 齊民要術 (KR3d0001) — the foundational pre-modern Chinese agricultural encyclopedia, dated to ca. 533–544 CE on internal evidence. The work is one of the most important pre-modern Chinese technical works, covering all aspects of north-Chinese agriculture, food preparation, and household economics.
