Chāosù 超宿 (Yírán Chāosù 怡然超宿)
Mid-seventeenth-century female Línjì Chán master (nun 尼), dharma-heir of Qíyuán Xínggāng 祇園行剛 (1597–1654) in the Fúshī Chányuàn 伏獅禪院 female-lineage. Fǎhuì 法諱 Chāosù 超宿 (超-generation, the 34th-generation Línjì tier); hào Yírán 怡然 (“Harmonious-Thus”). Listed second among Xínggāng’s seven named dharma-heirs in the xíngzhuàng close. Co-compiler of KR6q0428 《伏獅祇園禪師語錄》 (Jiāxīng Canon J28 B210).
Native place, lay surname, and lifedates unrecovered. No independent works survive under her name.
