Zhào Hán 趙崡 (fl. ca. 1585–1620), zì Zǐhán 子函, of Zhōuzhì 盩厔 (modern Zhōuzhìxiàn, Shǎnxī), was a late-Míng jīnshí connoisseur of Hàn-Tang ancient-capital region. A jǔrén of Wànlì yǐyǒu (1585), he never advanced to jìnshì and held no senior office. His residence near the old Hàn and Tang capitals gave him access to many ancient stelae; over more than thirty years he assembled rubbings, recording 253 in his major work, the Shímò juānhuā 石墨鐫華 KR2n0033 in 6 juan + 2 juan appendix. The work’s title is taken from Liú Xié’s Wénxīn diāolóng — “lěibēi piān” — the line “shímò juānhuā”. The catalog meta dates the work to 1585 (the year of Zhào’s jǔrén exam), but the actual compilation runs over 30+ years and reaches into the 1610s. CBDB has no entry for him.
