Zhào Rǔméi 趙汝楳 (lifedates not securely recorded; fl. mid-thirteenth century, late Lǐzōng / early Dùzōng), of Biànshuǐ 汴水 (Kāifēng region, the Sòngshǐ-recorded ancestral home; resident in late-Sòng Línān).

Imperial-clan member, seventh-generation descendant of the Northern-Sòng prince Shāngwáng 商王 Zhào Yuánfèn 趙元份. Youngest (4th) son of 趙善湘 (Zhào Shànxiāng), the Zīzhèngdiàn dàxuéshì. Held Hùbù shìláng 戶部侍郎 (Vice-Minister of Revenue) under Lǐzōng or early Dùzōng.

CBDB id 19410. Documentary references: Sòngshǐ (PRC ed.; the imperial genealogies do not include him); Níngbō fǔzhì 17.1096; Yuán Jué 袁桷’s Wénjí 33.6b.

Within the Kanripo corpus he is the author of KR1a0058 Zhōuyì jí wén 周易輯聞 (6 juan; with appendices Yì yǎ 易雅 [Yǎ-style Glossary on the ] in 1 juan and Shì zōng 筮宗 [The Yarrow-Stalk Source-Doctrine] in 1 juan). Composed in his late-life maturity (1250s–1260s), consolidating and continuing the substantial -corpus of his father Zhào Shànxiāng.

Methodologically distinctive for his text-critical reductionism: rejecting the Shuō guà, Xù guà, and Zá guà as Hàn-ru intrusions; treating the Xìcí as disciple-record rather than Confucius’s text. The Yì yǎ glossary contains a methodologically clean yǎn shù / jī shù distinction that demotes the HétúLuòshū numbers from canonical shī-procedure status while preserving their general-cosmology role.
