Zhào Yǔshí 趙與旹 (1175–1231), zì Xíngzhī 行之 (the zì Déxíng 德行 given in Chén Zōnglǐ’s 陳宗禮 1257 preface may reflect a second zì or a transmission slip), was a Sòng imperial clansman, a descendant of Tàizǔ in the seventh generation, of dàicì 待次 residence at Guīān 歸安 in Húzhōu 湖州. Never passed the jìnshì; served as granary-superintendent in Wù, Tài, and Qú prefectures, then as supervisor of the xíngzài cǎoliào chǎng 行在草料場 and the imperial arms office; appointed chéng 丞 (magistrate) of Lìshuǐ 麗水 just before his death; the tōngzhí láng 通直郎 commission arrived posthumously. Studied under Yáng Jiǎn 楊簡 (Cíhú xiānshēng 慈湖先生). Author of the Bīntuì lù 賓退錄 (KR3j0051) and a verse collection Jiǎwǔ cúngǎo 甲午存藁 (not transmitted). The catalog meta gives 1172–1228; the Sìkù tíyào (citing Zhào Mèngjiān’s 趙孟堅 tomb-inscription) and CBDB id 15109 both give 1175–1231, followed here.
