Zhào Dǐngchén 趙鼎臣 (fl. YuányòuXuānhé, c. 1093–1119), Chéngzhī 承之, hào Wěixī wēng 葦溪翁, of Wèichéng 衛城 (Wèizhōu, Héběi). Son of Zhào Biàn 趙偁 (the Yuányòu / Shàoshèng Héběi zhuǎnyùnshǐ who alone advocated běiliú in the river-administration debate). Yuányòu jìnshì; Shàoshèng mid-period passed the hóngcí kē; in Xuānhé mid-period as Yòuwéndiàn xiūzhuàn Zhī Dèngzhōu; summoned as Tàifǔ qīng. Sòng shǐ has no biography. Author of Zhúyǐn jīshì jí 竹隱畸士集 KR4d0129 originally in 40 juǎn (per Sòng shǐ Yìwénzhì); Chén Zhènsūn’s Shūlù jiětí records grandson Zhào Gānglì 趙綱立 cutting the work at Fùzhōu in 120 juǎn but only finishing 40 before transferring out. Sìkù reconstruction is 20 juǎn. Liú Kèzhuāng’s Hòucūn shīhuà praises Zhào’s “talent-spirit drifting-wonderful, learning-and-memory exquisite-broad, sharp lines and clever pairings as if heaven-made”. Career associates include Sū Shì 蘇軾 蘇軾 and Wáng Ānshí 王安石 王安石. Catalog gives fl. 1093–1119.
