Tōngyìzǐ 通意子 (also signing as Xuánjī dòngzhǔ 璇璣洞主), pseudonymous late-Qīng scholar-physician, born c. 1824/25 (75 suì in 1899 per his self-preface to KR3ep062 Guànwéi jí). The Daoist-coloured literary signatures (Master of the Mystic-Mechanism Grotto, Master of Penetrating Intentionality) cover an unrecoverable personal identity. His clinical activity spanned c. 1849–1899 and worked from a strong teacher-lineage; his single surviving casebook combines a Shānghán / Jīnguì doctrinal foundation with a Yè-school light-descending prescription style.
