Dàozhān 道霑

A Qīng-dynasty Pure Land monk, lifedates not preserved with precision; he was active in the mid-Qīng period (probably eighteenth century). His name is also written 道沾 in some recensions. His major surviving work is the 《淨土旨訣》 Jìngtǔ zhǐjué KR6p0090 (X1171, 1 juǎn), a short Pure Land doctrinal handbook in the zhǐjué 旨訣 (“essential instructions”) genre. Beyond this work no substantial biographical record survives.
