Late-Míng connoisseur of calligraphy and painting; zì Shūyù 叔遇, hào Shuǐxī dàorén 水西道人, of Jiāxīng 嘉興 in Zhèjiāng. Active in the Chóngzhēn 崇禎 decade (1628–44). Editor of KR3h0054 Shūhuà tíbá jì 書畫題跋記 in 12 juàn with a xù 續 in 12 juàn — a transcription record of inscriptions and colophons on famous calligraphies and paintings he had seen and (in part) personally owned. Self-colophon dated Chóngzhēn 7 (1634). Otherwise undocumented in standard biographical sources.
