Guō Màoqiàn 郭茂倩 (1041–1099)
A Northern-Sòng official from Yúncheng 鄆城 (Shāndōng — though some sources give Tàiyuán 太原), eldest son of the courtier Guō Yuán 郭源 of the Qízhōu lineage. Jìnshì of approximately Xīníng 4 (1071). He served as Hénán fǔ fǎcáo cānjūn and later as a senior official in the Tàicháng (Court of Sacrifices) before retiring to compile the Yuèfǔ shījí 樂府詩集 KR4h0034 — the comprehensive 100-juǎn anthology of yuèfǔ (musical/song) poetry from antiquity to the late Táng. The catalog meta gives fl. 1264–1269, an evident corruption of the Northern Sòng dates; the actual lifespan is 1041–1099, with the Yuèfǔ shījí completed ca. 1090–1099. No CBDB entry. The book is the principal pre-modern Chinese anthology of song-poetry and remains the foundational source for yuèfǔ studies.
