Dōu Mù 都穆 (1458–1525), zì Xuánjìng 玄敬, hào Nánháo 南濠, of Wúxiàn (Sūzhōu, Jiāngsū), was a Hóngzhì-era jìnshì (1499) and senior official, and a leading mid-Míng jīnshí connoisseur. He served in gōngbù and other capital posts and reached yánsuǒ shùnfēng dàoyuán 鹽所巡風道員 by his retirement. His major works are: Jīnxiè línláng 金薤琳琅 KR2n0030 (a 20-juan jīnshí compendium of 63 stelae from Zhōu, Qín, Hàn, Suí, and Tang); Rénwǔ gōngchén juéshǎng lù 壬午功臣爵賞錄 (Yǒnglè-era 1402 reward register); Tīngyǔ jì 聽雨記; and the Nánháo wénlüè 南濠文略 (his collected literary works in 6 juan, the last 2 juan of which reproduce the Jīnxiè línláng colophons in fuller form).
