Zhèng Wénkāng 鄭文康 (1413–1465), zì Shíyì 時乂, hào Jièān 介菴 (also self-styled Píngqiáo 平橋 and Kāifēng 開封 — Píngqiáo the local name of his Kūnshān residence; Kāifēng his clan-ancestral place). Native of Kūnshān 崑山 (Sūzhōu, Jiāngsū). Zhèngtǒng wùchén (1448) jìnshì; on completing the shìhè (initial-tassel ceremony) renounced further official advancement and returned home to teach. Míng shǐ j. 161 (appended). Surviving works are KR4e0111 Píngqiáo gǎo (18 juǎn; the author’s self-edited recension, prefaced 1461 by Yè Shèng 葉盛, reprinted 1693 by descendant Zhèng Qǐhóng 鄭起泓).
